Welcome

Hi everyone! Let me introduce myself. My name is Peyton Phillips. I’m currently a Kinesiology major and a Gerontology minor with an emphasis in Physical Therapy at San Diego State University . My academic journey has been heavily driven by curiosity in how the human body moves, functions, and changes over time, more specifically as we age. I’ve always believed in physical activity, not just for maintaining fitness, but for enhancing long-term quality of life. I enjoy a wide range of physical activities, including going to the gym, racquetball or tennis, long walks with friends, and swimming at the beach. For me, movement is not just a form of exercise but also a way to de-stress and stay connected with my body. These experiences have shaped my belief that exercise is vital to how our bodies age and adapt. I’ve also had great personal experiences with physical therapy, and it gave me a deeper understanding of its impact which definitely inspired my interest in the field....
